DMV-Xpress is a licensed third-party document preparation service — NOT the Nevada DMV. Official Nevada DMV → dmv.nv.gov

DMV-Xpress Services is a licensed third-party document preparation service in Las Vegas. We issue Nevada 10-day and 30-day temporary vehicle movement permits. We are NOT the Nevada DMV.
Per Nevada DMV (dmv.nv.gov): Nevada offers two permit types — a 10-day permit (for Nevada-registered vehicles) and a 30-day permit (for non-Nevada registered vehicles). Both require active Nevada insurance before issuance. Permits are non-renewable — full registration must be completed within the permit period.

Important: The 30-day permit is designed to give you enough time to complete the full Nevada vehicle registration process. DMV-Xpress recommends starting registration before the permit expires — call 702.802.8696 and we can often process both the permit and your full registration in one visit.
Out-of-State Title or Out-of-State Registration
Your current title or registration from the previous state. Must list you as the registered owner (or seller if recently purchased).
Proof of Nevada Liability Insurance
Nevada insurance is required before any permit can be issued. Minimum: $25K/$50K bodily injury, $20K property damage. Insurance must list the vehicle.
Government-Issued Photo ID
Driver's license, U.S. passport, or state-issued ID. Must match the registered owner or buyer name.
VIN Verification (if required)
Out-of-state vehicles may require a VIN inspection before a permit is issued. DMV-Xpress coordinates VIN inspections in Las Vegas.
Bill of Sale (if recently purchased)
If you just purchased the vehicle from a private party, bring the signed bill of sale and the title signed over to you.
Payment of Permit Fee
Nevada DMV sets the 30-day permit fee. Our service fee is separate. Exact fee confirmed at your appointment.
